Our Staff
Over the Rainbow Kindergarten has a range of teachers and members of staff to ensure a safe, enjoyable and educational learning environment.
Katherine Wisdom
Sivorn Ngeth
Katherine is one of two owners of Over the Rainbow Kindergarten, who has lived in Kampot since June 2016. She is TEFL qualified and has experience working with young children.
She has worked and volunteered with numerous schools in Kampot before opening the kindergarten. She teaches the kindergarten class as well teaching English online to Chinese children from the ages of 4 to 11 years old.
Sivorn is one of two owners of Over the Rainbow Kindergarten. She has many years experience working with young children in Kampot. She teaches the pre-nursery class with the help of our Western volunteers who assist in their learning.
Caroline Patterson
Simon Upstone
Caroline is our nursery teacher and one of our part-time teachers who has worked in Vietnam and Cambodia teaching English to both children and adults. She is from England and has lived in Asia for over 1-year.
La Hean
La is one of two TA's at Over the Rainbow Kindergarten. She assists with our nursery class and has experience working with children. She speaks Khmer and has basic English skills.
Ny Ly
Ny is one of two TA's at Over the Rainbow Kindergarten who assists in our pre-nursery class. She also works throughout the day in helping the children and ensuring they are looked after when they need guidance or help.
Somang Bun
Somang works throughout the day to ensure the kindergarten is kept to the best level possible. She cares for the children, cooks the food and provides the snacks for the children.
Simon is one of our part-time teachers who is from England and has lived in Kampot for over 1-year. He has 15 years teaching experience in South Korea with children from kindergarten to high school age.
